Description

TRELLIS is an open model from Microsoft that makes a 3D object from an image. It can output a mesh, 3D Gaussians or radiance fields, and the example code saves a textured GLB file. The image model accepts several input images. There are also versions that work from text, but the authors recommend the image version for better results. Weights and code are published under the MIT license; a few helper modules have their own licenses. The authors say it needs an NVIDIA GPU with at least 16 GB of memory and was tested on Linux. An official demo is available on Hugging Face.
