TripoSR
Description
TripoSR is an open model that builds a 3D model from a single image. It was made by Stability AI together with Tripo AI. The authors say it generates a model in under half a second on an NVIDIA A100 GPU, and with default settings it takes about 6 GB of VRAM. A texture can be baked into the result instead of vertex colors. Code, weights and the online demo are released under the MIT license. The model card points to a newer successor, SF3D, which it says is faster and gives more game-ready assets. The tech report is from March 2024. An official demo is on Hugging Face.
