Let's Enhance is an online service: it improves quality and color, upscales images up to 16x for print and web, sharpens blur and has a mode for repairing old photos. It runs in the browser and processes up to 20 images at once. You get free credits on sign-up; results on the free plan carry a watermark.

Remini is an AI photo and video enhancer from AI Creativity S.r.l., a company of the Bending Spoons group: you upload a file and the service improves it, sharpens it and removes blur; it turns grainy, pixelated and low-resolution photos into clearer ones and improves portraits and selfies. It runs in the browser and in an iPhone app, which is free to download, with unlimited access to premium features by subscription.
Restore and colorize an old photo
Kandinsky is Sber's AI. It is built into GigaChat (at giga.chat, in the app and in Telegram, with Sber ID sign-in): it restores old photos, removes unwanted objects and retouches. Image editing is free. The models are open: you can download them from GitHub and run them yourself, but you need a strong graphics card.
Alice AI is Yandex's AI assistant in chat form. Among other things it animates and restores photos, and it also answers questions, writes text and analyzes files. The basic version is free; some features are only in the paid version.
Old photos are also restored by Let's Enhance (a mode for old photos), Fotor, Remini (old, blurry and scratched shots) and the web version of Topaz Labs. Black-and-white shots are colorized by Fotor, DeepAI and Topaz Labs.
Remove the extra and fit the size
Fotor removes objects, people, text and watermarks and retouches portraits. Kandinsky removes unwanted objects and retouches. Photoroom is an AI photo editor for product photos: it removes the background and replaces it, removes unwanted objects and resizes for marketplaces and social networks.
