Description

A voice typing app from Wispr AI, Inc.: you speak, and clean text appears at your cursor in any app. Flow removes filler words and repetitions, follows your corrections as you go and adjusts the style to each app. A personal dictionary learns names and terms, and snippets cover phrases you use often. It recognizes more than 100 languages.

There is also a meeting notetaker for Mac and Windows that works with no bot in the call, and its notes can be used in Claude and ChatGPT. Dictation runs on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. Speech recognition always happens in the cloud.

News about Wispr Flow

  • Voice AI apps are converging into multi-feature tools. Granola, a meeting-notetaker, now adds free unlimited dictation across all Mac apps (iOS and Windows soon). Wispr, Fireflies, Speechify, and Monologue are doing the same—combining dictation with meeting notes. Single-purpose voice apps are fading as startups extract more value from captured speech. #VoiceAI #Granola #Wispr #SpeechTech #AIApps
  • AI dictation startup Wispr raised $280M Series B at a $2B valuation led by Menlo Ventures, bringing total funding to $361M. The company launches Canto, a new model cutting error rates from 30% to under 10%, expands to Android and markets like India/UK, partners with hardware (Oasis ring), and enters the meeting notes space competing with Granola and Fireflies. Wispr also forms Interface Labs under ex-Alexa lead Ariya Rastrow to pioneer new human-computer interfaces. #Wispr #AIFunding #SpeechToText #VoiceAI #HumanComputerInteraction
  • Wispr Flow is betting on India as its fastest‑growing market, leveraging Hinglish voice input to turn popular voice‑note habits into a scalable AI business. The startup plans broader multilingual support, local hiring, and lower pricing to reach beyond white‑collar users into households. #WisprFlow #India #AI #VoiceTech #Hinglish
