Speechify
Description
An app from Speechify, Inc. that reads PDFs, documents, web pages and books aloud in AI voices. You can set the reading speed. The paid version also reads text from a photo, summarizes text, turns documents into podcasts and answers questions about what you read.
Voice typing is included: you speak, and the text appears in any app on Mac or Windows. It runs in the browser, as a Chrome and Edge extension, on Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android.
Separately, the company offers a studio for voiceover and video dubbing, and an API with its own voice models and voice cloning.
