In short. The catalog has no separate "logo" category, but according to the pages you can make a logo in six services. Three are dedicated logo makers: Looka, Brandmark and LOGO.com. You enter a name, get options, edit them in an editor and take the files. Recraft is an image generator and design studio that makes vector graphics (SVG), icons and logos in one brand style. Craiyon has a separate mode for logos, and Ideogram can place lettering from your prompt inside an image. You can create logos for free in Looka, Brandmark (even without an account) and LOGO.com; the files are paid in Looka and Brandmark, and the free LOGO.com account is limited in the number of logos and file formats.
We use only what our catalog pages say. Free-plan terms change, so open the service's official page before you start.
Logo makers
Looka is an AI logo maker, formerly called Logojoy. You enter your company name and it generates logo options; in the editor you can change colors, symbols and sizes and see the result on mockups such as T-shirts and pens. Files come in SVG, PNG, EPS and PDF, in black-and-white, color and transparent-background variations. The Brand Kit builds business cards, social profile and post templates, email signatures, invoices and a website from the logo. Creating logos is free; logo files are paid.
Brandmark is an AI logo maker that combines generative AI with hand-crafted fonts and templates. You can create an icon with AI, edit text and layout in the browser and export to SVG, PNG and PDF. It also offers source files, a brand guide, and business card, social media and presentation designs. You can generate logos without an account; the branding tools are bought with a one-time payment, not a subscription. The files are paid.
LOGO.com is an AI logo generator: hundreds of options and an editor where you change text, colors, fonts, icons and layouts. Logos download as PNG, SVG and other formats. There is a brand kit with templates and generators for a business name, a slogan and a domain. The free account is limited in the number of logos and gives PNG files only; vector files need a paid plan.
Image generators
Recraft is an image generator and design studio. Besides regular images, it makes vector graphics (SVG), icons, logos, mockups and illustrations in one brand style, and you can define your own style and reuse it. It runs in the browser. There is a free plan, but images on it are public and owned by Recraft.
Craiyon is a text-to-image generator. It has modes for logos, anime, tattoos and interiors, plus background removal, upscaling and image-to-vector (SVG). It runs in the browser with no sign-up. Images without a watermark need a paid plan.
Ideogram is an image generator that can place lettering and other text inside an image as written in your prompt; you can edit one part of a picture several times in a row without changing the rest. Its page does not name logos separately, so it is more of an option for a mark with lettering. On the free plan, images are public.
What to pick
- A logo from a company name, fast: Looka, Brandmark or LOGO.com.
- Start without an account: Brandmark or Craiyon.
- A logo plus business cards, social templates and email signatures: Looka, Brandmark or LOGO.com (each has its own set).
- A vector file (SVG): Looka, Brandmark, LOGO.com (on paid plans), Recraft or Craiyon.
- A logo and icons in one brand style: Recraft.
- A mark with lettering from a description: Ideogram or Craiyon.
- A one-time payment instead of a subscription: Brandmark.
What to check on a tool's page
- Files. Designing a logo is often free, while the files are paid. Check which formats the service gives: print and web need vector (SVG, EPS, PDF), and PNG does not fit everywhere.
- Rights. In Recraft, free-plan images are public and owned by Recraft, and in Ideogram they are public. For a logo, the rights to the image matter: read the terms on the service's page.
- Subscription or one-time payment. Brandmark charges once; others have subscription kits.
- What else besides the logo. Business cards, social templates, a website: compare with what you need.
How to check the result
- Shrink the logo to an icon size and enlarge it to a banner size: it should stay readable.
- Look at it on black-and-white and on a colored background.
- Check that the lettering has no mistakes.
- Look for similar marks: the services work on ready-made templates and symbols, so a result can resemble someone else's.
